Traditionally the norm for driver’s education is based upon the minimum requirements to get a license. That’s what other driving schools do. We don’t!
The new driver must learn to operate and control their vehicle. A vehicle parked in the driveway is “static”. When you put the vehicle in motion, it becomes “dynamic” – 4,000 pounds or more of metal in motion. The loss of dynamic control is what causes crashes – and kids are injured and killed because they don’t know. Teens MUST learn about dynamics, and car control, and how to brake in a crisis without losing control – by doing.
