  • Reservations will be held upon receipt of payment.
  • PLEASE KEEP ALL SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS. If you must reschedule a training event, please give us at least 1 full business days notice (example: if you have a weekend training event or Monday event, reschedules need to be done the Thursday prior to the event) to avoid a cancellation fee.


General Information:
  • 1 Day and 2 Day Driving Camp training events: These events require your student to provide their own vehicle unless special arrangements have been made ahead of time. In order to assure that the student receives the maximum benefit that training can provide, we strongly recommend that you discuss the selection of the vehicle to be used in the driving skills exercises with a member of our staff when you schedule your 1 or 2 Day Driving Camp. Studded snow tires are not allowed on the driving range. We request students driving standard transmission cars be reasonably comfortable with basic clutch operation before participating in a 1 Day or 2 Day Driving Camp. For those students new to a standard transmission: a one hour individual off-street private instruction with one of our staff members, using the student's car, is available for an additonal fee.
  • All training times are contained in a confirmation letter and reminder email. Please arrive 15 minutes early for each training event to ensure you have a GREAT MasterDrive Experience!
  • During Driving Camp AND Classroom sessions there are no food or refreshment facilities readily available. Please bring a "Brown Bag" lunch, to include beverages, each day.
  • INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: If you are concerned about the weather, please call our office for recorded information about the status of all of our traning events.

For many years, MasterDrive has stood alone in providing an absolutely unique service for anyone who has special needs in learning to drive. Driving safety is the ultimate objective of the MasterDrive Experience, and the safety of a new driver is totally dependent upon the quality of the essential executive functions related to driving. These functions include: balance, multi-tasking, focus and concentration, the ability to understand and follow instructions, visual processing and visual spatial awareness, reaction time, etc. Therefore if, as a parent, you believe that your teen needs access to this special accommodation and/or auxiliary training for any reason, please let us know and we will discuss program options and a strategy session with your family. To help the learning to drive process of my son/daughter, please be aware of the following things:

1 or 2 Day Driving Camp

Arrival And Pick Up for Driving Camp Events

  • Please stay in your vehicle and advance to the front of the line to check in.

Parents, remember the "recital" held during the last hour of the final day of Driving Camp! This will give you the opportunity to observe your teen's newly acquired skills and to ride with them through the exercises (parents and teens willing); This is an experience both parents and teens should not miss!

Car Preparation

  • Check fluid levels (oil, coolant and transmission).
  • Check tires (air pressure, visible tread).
  • Check wheels (covers secure, lug nuts snug).
  • Check brake pads and brake fluid level.
  • Check for firm brake pedal and that brake lights are operational.
  • Seat belts function properly (YOU MUST WEAR THEM).
  • Any loose or hazardous objects removed from interior and cargo areas.
  • Gas tank at least 3/4 full.
  • Battery adequately secured.
  • Brakes should be bled and fluid changed annually.
  • Car should be in proper alignment.
  • Manufacturer tire pressure recommendation should be noted, and you should add 4 to 5 additional pounds per tire specifically for training. You will be putting the car under some stress and therefore there will be some limited wear on the tires. We recommend NOT using snow tires.

Safety is Paramount - An unsafe vehicle may be removed from the clinic.

All Training Events

Driver Preparation (1 or 2 Day Driving Camp and On Street Sessions)

  • Tennis shoes or any flat soled shoes that completely enclose/cover the foot. Thick soled shoes/boots are strongly discouraged. "Flip-Flops" or loose fitting sandals are a safety hazard and are not allowed!
  • Weather resistant jacket/coat.
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat.
  • Snacks and/or lunch with beverages.

A Note About Cell Phones And Texting (all events)

To minimize distractions to all participants in any period of instruction (classroom environment or in-car instruction) we ask all participants to completely turn off and store their cell phones. These devices may be used during breaks and after class. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

 

 

Waiver Of Liability And Release Agreement

The undersigned hereby represents and agrees that they have full legal authority to commit and fully bind both the undersigned and the Participant, , as well as the representatives, agents, principals, predecessors and successors of the undersigned and of Participant and further acknowledges his or her understanding that there are risks inherent in the process of learning to drive, and in driving a vehicle, and that while MasterDrive has taken and will take every precaution to minimize such risks and to maximize the safety of MasterDrive students, trainees and participants, some risks understandably remain, and cannot be controlled by MasterDrive or its teachers, coaches, employees and agents.

In consideration of the above, and of the undersigned participant's ("Participant") attendance at and/or participation in a MasterDrive training program, Participant hereby agrees as follows:

  1. I hereby knowingly and voluntarily waive forever any and all liability on the part of, and covenant not to sue or institute any claim against MasterDrive, its agents, instructors, insurers, lessors, successors, or assigns, or of any sponsor (collectively "MasterDrive"), resulting from or arising out of or in connection with my attendance at and/or participation in a MasterDrive training program. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless MasterDrive from any and all claims, demands or causes of action, which allege negligent acts or omissions of MasterDrive, unless such negligent acts or omissions are found by a court of law to constitute willful, wanton or gross negligence.


  2. If using a family vehicle for training, I warrant and represent that I personally, and my vehicle, are fully insured and will at all times during the period of my participation in the MasterDrive training program continue to be fully insured in accordance with applicable state law; and in addition, that I have both personal liability and property damage coverage deemed by me sufficient and adequate to cover any exposure to me, my vehicle, or the property or person of others, arising from participation in the MasterDrive program.

  3. I acknowledge that the development of driving skills entails known and unanticipated risks, which could result in physical and/or emotional injury to myself and/or third parties, and damage to my property and/or the property of others. I understand that while every effort is made to reduce them, such risks simply cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential elements of this type of driving skills training.

  4. I acknowledge that I must accept and assume all of the risks of my individual actions and responsibilities, and those existing in this type of training activity. I therefore accept and assume full responsibility for my actions during all MasterDrive training, and during such time periods and locations, which are within the scope of such training (including but not limited to classrooms, parking lots, etc.). It is understood that MasterDrive will not accept responsibility for the actions and/or mistakes of any participant. Participant's attendance is voluntary, and he or she elects to participate in spite of the inherent risks explained above.

  5. I do hereby consent, without further consideration or compensation for the use (full or in part), of my name, photographs and/or videotapes taken of me and/or recordings made of my voice and/or written extraction, in whole or in part, for the purposes of illustration, broadcast, promotion, marketing or distribution in any manner by MasterDrive, Inc., its' employees and agents and that the permission I am granting for that use and publication is irrevocable and that the biographical materials may be used in any manner or media without notifying me. And without my review or approval at all times in the future.

  6. Should MasterDrive or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, Participant agrees to indemnify them for all such fees and costs.

  7. By signing this document, I acknowledge that if I am injured or if my property is damaged during my participation in this training, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against MasterDrive, its agents, instructors, insurers, sponsors, employees, successors and assigns.

  8. I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the terms and provisions of this document and agree to be bound by its terms. I understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. This agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any part of this agreement is held to be invalid, the remaining portions shall continue in full force and effect. I hereby agree to all of the terms set forth above.

  9. I hereby acknowledge that I may have provided my personal and credit card account information to MasterDrive of Orange County, LLC, solely for the purpose of allowing fees to be charged on my credit card for services provided. If I have entered into a payment plan agreement, I hereby give MasterDrive of Orange County, LLC, permission to retain my personal and credit card information for ongoing charges pursuant to the payment plan that I have entered into with MasterDrive of Orange County, LLC.

I acknowledge and understand that there are risks inherent in allowing access to my personal and financial information and that while MasterDrive of Orange County, LLC, has taken, and will take, every precaution to minimize such risks and to protect the privacy of the information provided, some risks understandably remain and cannot be controlled by MasterDrive of Orange County, LLC, or its employees and agents. I hereby knowingly and voluntarily waive any and all liability on the part of MasterDrive of Orange County, LLC, its agents, instructors, insurers, successors, or assigns, (collectively "MasterDrive"), resulting from their use of my personal and credit card information.

MasterDrive Driver Education Contract

Agreement made this 29 day of Sep, 2025 between MasterDrive and
in consideration of the tuition fee described below: (Parent or Guardian if Student is under age 18)

The skills based Driver Education Course is presented as a total package for a current fixed tuition. Each of the three phases are designed to achieve specific goals, with an eventual objective which is to accomplish a young driver who has a higher level of car control skills as well as a level of proficiency of driving on the street in specific situations.

Short notice cancellations or no shows for any portion of the program involve specific expenses for MasterDrive, which are necessary in order to schedule all training programs. Therefore MasterDrive asks for cooperation in making and keeping all appointments. The student and/or parents understands that there will be a cancellation fee of $50.00 for any cancellation of an appointment for any classroom session or on-street training unless student notifies MasterDrive at least 1 full business day in advance of that lesson. There will be a $150 cancellation fee if a student misses a confirmed 1 Day Driving Camp and a $250.00 cancellation fee if a student misses a confirmed 2 Day Driving Camp unless the student notifies MasterDrive at least 1 full business day in advance of that camp. MasterDrive may waive these fees at its discretion, in cases of emergency or health related situations. The remainder of the training will not continue until any rescheduling fees are paid in full.

It is the responsibility of the student and/or parents to provide a vehicle for Driving Camp. It is understood that the vehicle provided will have liability insurance coverage, and that a evidence of insurance must be provided to MasterDrive at least 3 days before Driving Camp. MasterDrive will furnish a dual control vehicle for the on-street portion of the training. MasterDrive reserves the right to reschedule an appointment in the event of inclement weather, mechanical breakdown, illness or termination of a coach, or for any other factors beyond its control.

Classroom Instruction: MasterDrive's classroom instruction can be completed through either classroom internet study (home study) or "live" classroom at one of our MasterDrive facilities. The cost for internet study is $74 and $125 for "live" classroom. Classroom instruction is available Monday through Sunday. Call the MasterDrive office for details on actual dates and times for "live" classroom. The total number of hours for both the internet study (home study) and "live" classroom is 30 hours. Behind-the-wheel Instruction: The package rate for the behind-the-wheel instruction is $465 for MasterDrive locations within California. Each session is 2 hours in length for a total of 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. Under this agreement an instructor may not provide behind-the-wheel training to more than two individual students per session. There may be times when a student will be in a vehicle driven by another student. If a second student is in the back seat of the vehicle during behind-the-wheel training, the second student shall not be given credit towards their 6 hours of behind-the wheel. Behind-the-wheel instruction may not be administered in a student's private vehicle.

It is understood that MasterDrive will not refund any tuition, or portion of tuition, if a student and/or family have not lived up to the conditions of the agreement, nor when a student arbitrarily decides to withdraw from the program. Payment is required in full, accompanying the application, unless other arrangements in regard to partial payments have been made. It is understood that if an agreement with partial payments has been made, the student and/or family are obligated to complete such payments as agreed.

This contract is effective for a period of at least twelve (12) months from the date of permit issuance, after which all obligations shall be deemed to have been provided.

This agreement constitutes the entire Contract between MasterDrive and any student, and any verbal assurances or promises not contained herein shall not bind either the student or MasterDrive in any way. The undersigned student or parent/guardian certifies that they have read and understood the contract and are aware their student may be in a vehicle driven by another student.
